Who do we work with?

We work with customer facing organisations in the public, charity, and private sectors who deal with everyday face to face interaction. We also work with freelancers and lone workers such as Community Workers and Sales Executives.

From front of house reception staff to hostel style provisions, to day centres, health care setting, faith-based provisions, community outreach and retail outlets, we provide training, advice and risk reduction strategies to teams, managers and individuals.

Problems?

Life can be touched with stress, fear, anxiety and confusion. These emotions can manifest as distress. This distress can lead to aggressive and difficult to manage behaviour. Those on the frontline of service delivery, whether it be in a social / health care setting or a business that provides a service to the public, are often face to face with these problems.

Positive and early intervention can prevent escalation, its damaging effects and its many negative outcomes.

What work do we do?

Using non-contact methods we train organisations in space management, movement, communication, and teamwork. Focusing on the operational environment, the client or customer and our own actions, we train people to reduce the potential for conflict and so reduce the risks that are born of conflict, distress, anger, and aggression. In addition, we train staff to deal with dangerous, threatening and stressful behaviour. We show people how to build 'bridges and paths' that can lead people out of conflict to a place and space of resolution, safety and wellbeing.

What results and outcomes?

We aim to have all attendees leave their training session with a full awareness of how to work alone and as a team in the management of conflict and aggression.

Our training helps and encourages you to form daily working habits that will help reduce the occasions of conflict, prevent escalation and if needed manage dangerous behaviour. Together we aim to improve morale, teamwork, safety and the general wellbeing of your team - and of course the people you serve, be they: customers, patients, members, clients or residents.

We help you look at conflict management in new, interesting and positive ways that will help staff and individuals safely and positively manage conflict. Working with you we help create and maintain a working and living space that improves existing team and customer safety, relationships, interactions, and wellbeing.
